Thanks to Loris challenge I have put some thoughts together what does bring contentment to our family.
I believe the contentment we are talking about is a sense of relaxation, happy with the world. We should find a place where we can be content in our spirit, not because of our circumstances but because GOD IS! This position is the real challenge.
But I notice our family is content: When we're not rushing. When we have plenty of time to prepare for whatever we are doing. Camping. Pizza and a video/dvd.
Though our family loves to be with other people we are also content to be by ourselves either as a family or as individuals.
For DH he is content when he has the opportunity to make something, when he is out camping, when he is reading (for relaxation not business!)
For Me I am content when I scrapbook, and when I sew and stitch, when I have my teeth into some study, when I have people around.
Josh (12) is content when he is reading, writing or playing cricket.
Jess (11) is content when she is organising or tidying something, reading or doing crafts, when she has people around to talk to or bless.
Nomi (8) is content when she is performing, or making stuff of an artistic bent
Daniel (6) is content when he is making something more of a building / technology bent, fixing stuff, riding his bike or spending energy in some form.
When you write about your Jess, she sounds so much like my Britty. She is 7, and also loves to clean. Today we watched a craft show together and she immediately wanted to get out supplies and do it. She is so very sweet, and we don't deserve her!
Guess what?
Now you have been tagged. You can go back to my blog, to get the questions, answer them in your blog and tag 5 other people!!!
Have fun!
