We had fun with our PaperArts Online class today. The topic was stamping (no rubber stamps allowed). We rushed around the house on a treasure hunt to find what we could use to stamp impressions with. I then gave a little demo on tints and shades and then left the kids to it. I also gave big instructions on how to keep their area clean with having to take their “stamps” outside and wash before they moved on to the next shape. The funniest thing was when Daniel came up and said, “I washed the toilet paper – look what happened!” LOL. They had decided a Roll of Toilet paper would be a good thing to stamp with so being true to instructions he washed it after he finished with it! We will do another stamping session in the next week or so and work with the proportion side of this lesson a bit more.
we're doing this, too! Isn't it fun! My two year old was blue and turned the bathwater blue, and I think had as much fun smearing the paint on the shower walls as he did "stamping."
