How does God build up a child?

 

God says – I knew you when you were formed in secret

 

God says – to each grace is given sufficient unto the need

 

God says – He has given gifts and ministries

 

God says – God is not a man that he should lie

 

(Rom 8:31 NIV) What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

 

 

What are the most important things to offer our children?

 

I look at my life and I believe my parents got me to adulthood a confident person.  How did they do that?  I believe it was through relationship. 

 

It was through our relationship that Dad told me HE was the most important person (outside of God) in my life – until I got married.  It was our relationship that led me to believe him. 

 

It was our relationship that made me realise that God was a personal God for me not just for my folks. 

 

It was our relationship that made me see the loving side of God. 

 

It was through our relationship that I had the faith to believe God and be myself – even though that was different than others.

 

It was through our relationship that I turned to the Word in times of stress and leant for myself that God does not lie!

 

 

I want to build up my children too… am I showing them these things through our own relationship?
