Tuesday Today was a family day. We were in town so grabbed a quick bite for lunch and then spent a good-while at the Library.
Daniels interest in books is growing. He bought home a book on dinosaurs (apparently he wants a pet; a tiny one!), a book on science (how to make things move), and a picture book on a building site, and another on space.
Naomi is finding it hard to find a topic that interests her enough to find a book on. I am not particularly worried about this as she is reading a lot of fiction and she is being introduced to the world via FIAR. In the end she found a book on stamp collecting and making Fimo jewellery.
Jessica has checked out a few books on beading and jewellery making. She really wanted a LM Montgomery book but the library only had adaptations so I have held her off till we can find the full stories.
Josh checked out a rather thick book, which he enjoys dipping into on battles/battlefields. He also got a book on Animal Heroes (stories where animals have helped Australians). He has read most of it already and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I also checked out a lot of books; books to help plan some creative times around here working with wood, making an adventurous playground, boys/bush craft, art work, and math. I have a lot of reading ahead of me!
