Today I read a comment supposedly from Theodore Roosevelt.
A visitor apparently objected to Roosevelts daughter, Alice, wandering in and out of the presidents office while he was conducting important business with her father. Roosevelts reply was, I can be president of the United States, or I can control Alice. I cannot possibly do both.
What a timely reminder to keep my focus on what I am supposed to be doing my job at this stage is to train my children. I cannot do everything!
