Tuesday

Jessica hit computer problems with her book project.  We eventually worked it out but it has put her another day behind her schedule.  Hopefully she will get it to the printers tomorrow.

Daniel, Josh and Jessica completed their math.  Naomi needs some revision so we will start that up again tomorrow.

Joshua also worked on his science.  He has had several experiments to work through this week, with writing up a report after each one.

Late afternoon we were invited to join a party on a river BBQ boat.  We had a wonderful afternoon cruising up the river at a leisurely rate.  We stopped for a bit and the kids all jumped in the river for a swim.   Once moving again the BBQ was turned on and nibbles came out throughout the rest of the evening.  Just on dusk we were in the right spot to see colonies of bats relocating. 

Daniel had another turn at piloting the boat (he did this last time we went out on a BBQ boat).  He claims he drove straight this time but I am not so sure.

Once dark settled the kids played various party games and had an absolute ball with their friends.  The families were dropped off early (at 8.15pm) so it was a very full day, late night but so relaxing!
