Attentiveness is a character trait that is imperative to learning. You have to pay attention to the people around you who are wiser so you can learn from them. You need to pay attention to the details in all that you read, ready to ask questions for anything you don’t understand. Listening is a great part of being attentive. When our family recently studied this trait for a month we realised though that there is a lot more to it – we need to be attentive to people and their needs.
