The Ag Show is looming very quickly – the next week and a half is set aside for the youngest 3 to work on projects to display at the Show. Josh has decided that the categories etc for display just don’t fit his interests or abilities so he isn’t going to push himself. I am happy with that. So with that in mind Josh worked on his math and science today while the others worked on creative projects. They all had reading and notebooking time just after lunch.
Pete and I went into town for lunch with some friends. We should really do that more often – I went into town quite stressed with a much too long “to-do” list and came home very relaxed and able to get through my list!
Pete headed out to one of the nearby cattle stations to see a horse with a cancer growth on its leg. He took Nomi and Daniel with him. Getting out with their Dad is just what they needed.
Josh and Jess work for pay on Monday afternoons. Josh keeps our lawn in shape and Jess helps me in the house. Today she ironed.
