How time has flown! It has been over a week since the Ag.Show and no, I haven’t taken those photos yet!
The week after the Show was still school holidays here, so Nomi and Daniel were involved in a Kids Club run by the Churches in the town. They had a ball. Jessica went along two days as a helper – she worked with the creche kids. Being in town everyday was very tiring but it was a good week.
This week I am focused on sewing four flowergirl dresses for a wedding in (countdown on!) 11 days time! Once I started the dresses I realised they need to "hang" for at least a week in order for the hem to sit properly so I am rushing to get them done this week.
Yesterday the kids spent a day with another homeschool family so I could have a clear day of sewing. The kids took along an hours worth of work so they could all have 1 hour of Table Time. Jessica supervised Daniel. According to reports – it all went well. They also had a reading rest/quiet time after lunch where the Mum and her husband actually had time to have a cuppa together. Not bad for having 8 kids in the house!
