Menu Plan
The idea of sharing my menu is to help me be accountable in getting my children to help me in the kitchen. My goal is to teach them to prepare food by working along side me in everyday situations, rather than giving them time specific cooking lessons. They watch, they practice and then they work on their own.

I was thinking about how much you have spurred me on to 'be' with my children, to walk along side them rather than being on the sidelines. Your homeschool bootcamp was what got me started with getting back to being closer with my own dc! Again the Lord is stirring me up to love and good works with the blessing that He's given me to raise. I'm finding it's in the little things like washing up 'with' them instead of giving the orders and getting them to do it by themselves – where bad habits of silliness or bickering come about. What you say about it being a sacrifice on my own part is what I have certainly been feeling. A good thing! There is so much to teach them, and I'm glad (and at times frustrated lol) that I have the time to spend working on my own sin and weaknesses and my children's weaknesses. than ks for sharing your journey!
