We didn’t get to any lessons last week with Daniel. He has been thoroughly enjoying having his daddy around and doing all the man-jobs around the place. Daniel has been fairly consistent in helping build the chook shed.
Here you see Grandad who was master-builder and all the kids. The section on the left (behind G’dad) is a garden shed section.
Daniel also enjoyed having his friends come and stay for the day/night while the mothers enjoyed a Homeschool Mums Retreat. A heavy downpour filled the channel which was just too inviting – mud and all!
Monday afternoon we took off with some friends to visit one of the local watering holes.
And last but not least while we were in the middle of breakfast Daniel asked "What part of the eye actually sees?" So out came the books and an old camera so he could see a lens etc.

I love seeing those summer pics. We are in the middle of winter here. It's even snowing at my house. Those warm, summer days are definitely my favorites.
