This morning when I started to head off for my walk, suddenly everyone wanted to come with me. I thought that would be a good idea – and it was – kinda! It was good to be all out together walking, it was motivating but….. I dearly missed my thinking time. So the next time anyone wants to come with, the rule will be mp3 headphones on and no talking. As my mum pointed out I should be thankful my kids (ages 8-14yo) are wanting to talk to me! And I am …. But I still need my thinking time.
Today I had to keep my morning fairly free for our computer technician. He connected our laptops to wireless internet which is very exciting!
Josh and Jess continued with their studies. This year they are fairly independent.
We are working on our habits of orderliness – so Josh tidied/organized his desk tray with filing the last of 2007 work. Jessica decided to post at her other blog, Joy in Blitzing for her orderliness work. They both worked on their Bible study and Science.
It rained in the afternoon and though we live in the tropics it still feels like the kind of afternoon where you curl up on a couch with a good book. But we had things to do! The kids listened to audio stories and did their own thing. Nomi actually ironed for 2 hours. She is trying to earn enough money to pay for a jigsaw puzzle. She has only just started ironing and is doing very well. Jess spent some time playing card games with Daniel inbetween her blogging.
