Today has been going smoothly – but not according to plan. After family devotions this morning I spent a long while talking a few things over with Peter and then I had a long conference with Joshua about his study schedule. He is working really hard at understanding the balance between setting goals, being flexible and yet being disciplined. He is also working on tweaking my forms to making them his own. This is a very worthwhile process so it was time well spent.
We then had Bible with Nomi and Daniel, and then moved onto Australian Studies. Since then the kids have been working independently. I had a moment to hang a load of washing, and then help Nomi with her Math and Jess with her project. In between all this I took a set of photos to show what is going on in this moment of time.

Jessica is working on Facets this week. Facets is a magazine I edit / produce three times a year for Growing Families Australia. Jess looks after all the typesetting / graphics for me.
Just before I took these photos Nomi looked up at me and said, "Now I get it!"
Just what you like to hear as they work on their math.
Daniel expressed a desire to draw better so most days, or the days he has independent study time, he follows the instructions in a ‘how to draw’ book and produces a drawing. He improves all the time.
Now that I’ve finished posting this moment in time I am going to give Daniel a science lesson, Nomi is writing an email to a friend, Jess has moved on from Facets to some study, Josh is helping Peter install a new shower glass.
