Here are a few photos taken around our house lately:
Though we don’t own the strip of bush land next to our farm we have got used to the trees etc there – just recently the land is being cleared for farming trials and we though we miss the bush we enjoy seeing the red rocks in the distance.
Pete has been building the 3rd level of the kids cubby for a while now. He is set on getting it finished this wet season. The day this photo was taken he had borrowed a friend’s tractor
so he could lift a safety cage up to that height. It is all finished now. This level is for big kids only.
On Sunday night we were sitting in the lounge room talking when Josh noticed this snake outside the dining room door. It is a python so we have left him alone hoping he is feasting on the rats in the ceiling.
That is SOME SNAKE there Belinda!!! I do not think I could sleep knowing that was in my "lounge room"!!!! We live in the woods and are accustomed to seeing snakes…but…well…
A PYTHON?!?!?!?!? You are VERY brave!
How wonderful for your childrens' future memories the cubby is! I am sure they spend many the happy hour up there:)
