It is about time I got back to my blog…. so first up here are some photos of our camping trip.
After the Ag.Show (which is a highlight of our family / community calendar) we often go camping. This year we had friends, Mr and Mrs G, with us and their grand-daughter, D. So there was 9 of us all up which made for a substantial campsite. We had a tent for Pete and I, a campervan for Mr and Mrs G, a tent for the girls, and a tent for the boys. Pete worked hard at getting extra tarps up for shade – which we certainly appreciated come 11.00am – 2.00pm where it was very hot – unseasonably warm.
After breakfast we went for a walk to enjoy the diverse land formations though we were back in camp before it got its hottest. The only negative about this camp site was there was no waterhole to go swimming in.
When we go camping we enjoy our breakfast. At every meal Mrs G. claimed “Fit for Royalty” as she enjoyed her meal! This became the catch cry for the whole camping trip.
We live in a beautiful part of the world!
