Apparently I’ve been blogging for 5 years.   Thank you to Homeschoolblogger who have made this fun and easy for me to do.

This YouTube link to Geography Mini-Office got me thinking.  We haven’t done much formal stuff for geography and making a mini-office like this may give us a point of reference for the incidental and/or planned learning that happens.

Words that Represent You and Yet Influence Others – though this article is talking about documenting studies for College bound students I believe it is relevant for any documentation we want to do for our homeschooling.  Using ‘education-speak’ enables us to represent what learning has truly happened in our home and yet put it in a way that others can understand.

I am accepted, I am secure, I am significant, I am free!  This is a great looking poster but more than that it would be a great outline for a family study – Who I am in Christ.

When we are next on holidays – near shops – I want to stock up our craft and sewing cupboard in a different way than we’ve had up to now.  The girls are older now and are looking to create different types of projects plus I’m itching to get back to sewing and making so I book marked this post – very comprehensive list of sewing needs as a starting point check list.

Fabruckets (though I rather call them fab-buckets) look like fun to make.  I wonder if I really have the things to put in them though – or would it just be another excuse for a pile?

Dutch ovens scare me – in principle it looks easy but reality is….. One of my goals though is to master this so this website of dutch oven recipes interested me.
