I haven’t read much online this week (or in real books either for that matter) but here are a few articles I enjoyed.
How to get kids to part with their toys – this was a good reminder to put this down on my ‘to-do’ before Christmas. Of course, with bigger kids it isn’t quite so bad as it used to be – but it is still a good time for a bit of a declutter, to consider the things in our cupboard that we really aren’t using. The other thing, along this line, that I like to do is to have a small box (from the grocery store) for each of the kids to put their gifts in on Christmas day. This keeps things tidy until new homes have been found.
Whenever I read Sally Clarkson at the moment there is a reminder there to delight in being a mum – Oh to be truly loved,
These two articles made me pause and think about my relationships and why I do things the way I do: Wrong Thinking, and Available to be Parented
