I thought I’d share a few photos we’ve taken this month – they show some of the activities that have been going on around here.

Nomi and Peter at our Co-op Icecream Party which was a reward for winning the Under 18 display at the local Agricultural Show

Mango season - though the pickings were light this year the kids spent many hours picking, sorting and processing mangos. This one took their fancy as it looked more like an apple.

The youth group had an African night - the girls wore a few bits and pieces Pete brought back from Zim. but Nomi found out how to arrange traditional African headgear. It looks like a mess on her head but it is a gele.

Our last Co-op for the year and the last opportunity for delivering a speech. Jess spoke on why she loves books.

These tawny frog mouths are so well camouflaged. They are sitting on a branch next to the kids high platform cubby.

The girls took on creating a quilt patch for a church project. It is to represent our parish. It is supposed to be Kimberley moon, boab tree, rugged mountains, Ord River and Farming crops.
In amongst all these photo opportunties are the everyday things of life that we forget to record with photos. The meal times we share, the games we’ve played, the dvd’s we’ve watched, the books read, the dust and dirt cleaned, the food cooked, the friends who visited, the heart lessons discussed, tears cried, giggles and laughter, and life is full….
