Boxing Day Cricket - a tradition for Australians. But our family played it inthe rain on a tennis court. Most of Peter's family got together at another sister's place for the afternoon. It rained - as it did over most of the Eastern side of Australia for the weekend.
As I said, there's been lots of rain around, but Grandad had given this some thought when he built the house and arranged for water to go around his house. Daniel was fascinated. We have not been in a flooded area (Toowoomba is on top of a mountain), but friends and family have been affected by the floods.

Pete flew his dad and brother up to Theodore which is has been totally evacuated due to floods. We were going to visit Theodore next week as the Pete's family originate from there. Don't know that we'll make it!
Time for another party!! Pete's Sister is having a birthday so we put on one last party before everyone starts going back home.
