Do you hear this phrase used in your family life? It is a very powerful phrase.
It shows:
- I am thinking about you and your needs
- I am available to you and your needs
We all have needs in every area of our life our spiritual, moral, social, emotional, and intellectual. Our children have needs, our spouse has needs, our friends and neighbours have needs. May I help you is a phrase we should be using a lot!
I have made this poster (pictured above) to put on our kitchen wall (one of our Reminder Walls) to remind us all to be more available to each other.
If you would like to download a pdf copy of this poster for your Reminder wall I have uploaded it to my website for you. Love to hear from you if you end up using it!

great illustration and tool 🙂 is there a ‘download’?
There is a download now AnneMarie. Just go back to the post and it is down the bottom.
Morning AnneMarie – Yes, there will be a download – I slept in this morning and haven’t got it done…. I’ll let you know when it is up and ready.
Love the poster reminder Belinda. This will help me make a mental note to myself to remember to ask my family, “Can I help you?”
Blessings,

That is a wonderful idea. I would like to put a poster up too. A reminder to think of others. So easy to get caught up in our own little world.
Thank you so much for this fun reminder. My youngest child is autistic schizophrenic and we have found that sometimes all we have to do is ask “Can I help you” to avoid a meltdown. This will be so helpful to remind his siblings as well.
You are welcome Bonnie. Your comment reminded me of when my Daniel was little and with delayed speech he was heading for meltdowns when he couldn’t do something and we taught him to ask for help (sign language) and that helped him too.
Hi Belinda, Was not able to download the poster, my computer “blocked it”. Have you got any other suggestions. Tried to email but it came back. Thankyou so much.
Angela – I’ll email you privately with an attachment if that is okay.
If anyone else finds this problem – please let me know. Thanks. Belinda
Thanks Belinda for that. I will print it up soon. The poster will be a great reminder for us all (including me).
