The kids and I had talked about doing different bits and pieces on Valentines Day – as a family, to show and confirm our love for each other, but they didn’t happen. Life happens! But we did sit down to a family meal – everyone was showered and dressed nicely, the table was set – candles and all, and we had a three course meal. That was a first for the kids so it was alot of fun. I think we’ll do that again. It was interesting that given warning, and encoruagement everyone came to the table expecting to linger and enjoy each other’s company. Conversation was lively, interesting and very funny, just as dinner conversation should be! We all agreed that we should have more lingering meals more often!
My very few and sad roses participated for the day by just happening to have a small bud ready to pick. Thank you Pete, for seeing it, and taking the time to give.
