Change your Mindset

The key to finding this balance between all the different hats that you wear, and all the interruptions that come your way is to recognise that there is learning value in each and every activity that happens in your family life.

My goal for my children is that they grow into strong and capable individuals in every area of their life, that they are morally mature young adults who are willing and able to self-govern and live with responsibility and passion.  I want my kids to love God and love other people.

For us to reach that goal in our family we had to teach our children wisdom, knowledge and lifeskills – it isn’t all about the academics!

When we start to see that the opportunities homeschooling gives us reaches far beyond the classroom then we can start to homeschool with freedom, regardless of what else is going on in our crazy, busy, full life.
