My Philosophy
What does it mean to reach the heart of a child?
Heart focus parenting deals with our child’s belief system, character, and passions.
The heart is the place where we process and hold our beliefs, values and virtues – which in turn affect our choices, our actions, attitude and will. The Bible says – out of the heart flows all of life. What a privilege to teach, encourage, train our children’s hearts. That being said – our influence will come as we live true to our own convictions and passions.
The journey is different for each of our children –
but the destination is the same: that is, moral maturity
and self governance.
